Ephram is Dr Andy Brown's teenage son in the show Everwood. He doesn't get along with his father a lot of the time and he resents him in part for the death of his mother, but over the course of time their relationship develops and they grow  closer. When they first arrive in the small town of Everwood allEphram wants to do is go back home to New York.

While in Everwood Ephram meets Amy Abbott who he immediately feels an attraction for. Unfortunately he doesn't realise that Amy has befriended him in order to convince his dad who used to be a prominent brain surgeon to help her long time boyfriend Colin Hart to recover from a coma he had been in since Independence Day duringthat summer. Ephram Brown is played by Gregory Smith.
